Chiyotora Daiki - 千代虎 大樹 (born April 15, 2003) is a Japanese professional sumo wrestler from Saga City, Saga. He made his debut in May 2019 and currently wrestles for Kokonoe stable. His highest rank as of 2025 is makushita 10.

Early Life[]

Ejima began sumo wrestling during his first year at Saga City Takakise Elementary School. When he was in the third grade, he visited Kokonoe stable and was offered a spot by Kokonoe Oyakata (the 55th Yokozuna Chiyonofuji). After that interaction, Ejima would make frequent visits to Kokonoe stable. Along with sumo, he also practiced judo since his third year at elementary school.[1]

During his time at Saga Shiritsu Shoei Junior High School, Ejima represented Saga prefecture at national judo tournaments. After graduating from junior high school he joined Kokonoe stable.[1]

Career[]

He made his professional debut in May 2019 under the shikona "Chiyotora" (千代虎). In November 2019, Chiyotora defeated ex-maegashira Ura on the 11th day to finish with a perfect 6-0 record, however, he missed out on the jonidan yusho after losing his final match to Hokutenkai. He was promoted to sandanme in September 2020 and makushita in July 2022.[2]

Chiyotora is an oshi-sumo wrestler who prefers pushing and thrusting techniques to fighting on the mawashi. His most common kimarite used is a straightforward oshidashi, or push out.[3]
