Daikisho Oki - 大喜翔 大貴 (born August 18, 2000) is a Japanese professional sumo wrestler from Takamatsu, Kagawa. He made his debut in January 2019 and currently wrestles for Oitekaze stable. His highest rank as of 2025 is makushita 24.
Early Life[]
Oki Shirakawa was born on August 18, 2000, in Takamatsu, Kagawa. He began sumo wrestling during his third year of elementary school and in his third year of junior high school, he made it to the Top 16 at the National Junior High School Sumo Championship. He went on to attend Takamatsu Minami High School where he made it to the Top 16 during the National Athletic Meet during his second year. After graduating high school, he joined Oitekaze stable.[1]
Career[]
Shirakawa made his professional debut in January 2019 and was given the shikona "Daikisho" (大喜翔) in May 2019. He got off to a strong start and was promoted to sandanme in September 2019 and makushita in July 2020. At the time of his makushita debut, Daikisho had not posted a single losing record, however, he finished with a poor 1-6 record in the July 2020 tournament. In July 2022, Daikisho was promoted to a career-best makushita 22, but he finished with a 3-4 record.
In March 2024, Daikisho broke his neck during a match against Asagyokusei.[1] He subsequently sat out of the following four tournaments. Upon returning to action in January 2025, Daikisho had fallen to the lowest jonokuchi division. He afterward won the jonokuchi yusho with a perfect 7-0 record.[2]

- Daikisho's younger brother, Taiyo Shirakawa (born February 21, 2002), is also a rikishi at Oitekaze stable who wrestles under the name Daikosho.

Daikisho is an oshi-sumo wrestler who prefers pushing and thrusting techniques to fighting on the mawashi. His most common kimarite used is a straightforward oshidashi (push out) and tsukidashi (thrust out).[3]
