Fukujumaru Toshikatsu - 福寿丸 敏勝 (born August 22, 1980) is a former Japanese professional sumo wrestler from Namegawa, Saitama. He made his debut in March 1999 and wrestled for Takasago stable. His highest rank was sandanme 15 and he retired in May 2006.
Career[]
Toshikatsu Suzuki joined Takasago stable and made his professional debut in March 1999. Initially wrestling under his surname Suzuki, he reached the sandanme division in May 2001. In January 2002, he was given the shikona "Fukujumaru" (福寿丸). He reached a career-best sandanme 15 in March 2006, but finished with a poor 1-6 record. He retired after the following May 2006 tournament.
Fighting Style[]
Fukujumaru was an oshi-sumo wrestler who prefers pushing and thrusting techniques to fighting on the mawashi. His most common kimarite used was a straightforward oshidashi, or push out.
