Fukuoka Kokusai Center
Fukuoka Kokusai Center (福岡国際センター), also known as Fukuoka International Center, is a convention hall in Fukuoka, Japan, opened in 1981.
It hosts the Kyushu sumo honbasho in the month of November. It also regularly hosts a yearly performance by the Bolshoi Circus in August and multiple judo competitions in December. In addition, it hosts multiple sporting events, such as professional wrestling and professional boxing events, as well as exhibitions and concerts.
It is located near the Hakata Port, Fukuoka Sunpalace, the Marine Messe Fukuoka and the Fukuoka International Congress Center, marking it as part of a great convention area in the city. Due to its location near to the Hakata piers, it is close to many domestic and international ships which arrive in Southern Japan by Hakata.
