Kazenoumi Kei - 風の湖 競 (born January 29, 2003) is a Mongolian professional sumo wrestler from Ulaangom, Uvs. He made his debut in September 2022 and currently wrestles for Oshiogawa stable. His highest rank as of 2025 is makushita 16.

Early Life[]

Tsogoo Bilguun was born on January 29, 2003, in Ulaangom, a city near the Mongolian-Russian border. He moved to Japan for high school and attended Kibogaoka Senior High School where he was a member of the sumo club. During his time in high school, he achieved top 16 at the Fukuoka Prefectural tournament open-weight class. After graduating high school, he joined Oshiogawa stable.[1]

Career[]

He made his professional debut in September 2022 and was given the shikona "Kazenoumi" (風の湖). In his first professional tournament in January 2023, Kazenoumi finished with a 6-1 record and won a three-way playoff to claim the jonokuchi yusho. He followed with another 6-1 record in March 2023 and was promoted to sandanme for the May 2023 tournament. After two tournaments in sandanme, Kazenoumi was promoted to makushita in September 2023.[2]

Kazenoumi is a yotsu-sumo wrestler who prefers grappling to pushing and thrusting techniques. He won most of his bouts with a straightforward yorikiri, or force out.[3]
