Kuninofuji Kiifun - 国の富士 基勳 (born November 9, 1984) is a former South Korean professional sumo wrestler. He made his debut in May 2001 and last wrestled for Minato stable. His highest rank was jonidan 109 and he retired in May 2002.
Career[]
Kihun Song of South Korea joined Minato stable in May 2001 at the age of sixteen. he was given the shikona "Kuninofuji" (国の富士). He struggled in his first couple tournaments and could not make it out of jonokuchi until his fourth tournament. He was promoted to the jonidan division in January 2002, but could not produce any winning records in the division. After sitting out of the May 2002 tournament, his retirement was announced.
Fighting Style[]
Kuninofuji was a yotsu-sumo wrestler who prefers grappling to pushing and thrusting techniques. He won over half of his bouts with a straightforward yorikiri, or force out.
