Yokozuna Inazuma was the stable's top wrestler
Sadogatake stable (佐渡ヶ嶽部屋, Sadogatake-beya) was a stable of sumo wrestlers which was established in the Edo period and it closed down in 1924.
History[]
Sadogatake stable had a long history, dating back to the Meiwa period. It was home to the 7th Yokozuna Inazuma Raigoro. It closed down in 1924 after the ninth Sadogatake Oyakata (former maegashira Tamanogawa Wakitaro) passed away.
It was revived in 1929 but closed in 1946 (see Sadogatake stable (1929) for more information). It was revived in 1955 and has become one of the strongest active stables (see Sadogatake stable for more information).
