Matsuragata was the stable's last sekitori

Tatsutayama stable (立田山部屋, Tatsutayama-beya) was a stable of sumo wrestlers which was established in the Edo period and it closed down in 1946.

History[]

However, Chitosegawa left the Japan Sumo Association in 1927 and the stable subsequently closed down. The stable was briefly re-stablished from January to May of 1930 by former maegashira Shiraiwa.
