Tochitaikai Jiro - 栃大海 次郎 (born January 16, 1968) is a former Sri Lankan professional sumo wrestler. He made his debut in March 1992 and last wrestled for Kasugano stable. His highest rank was jonokuchi 34 and he retired in May 1992.

Career[]

Sri Aminda (or Chaminda) de Perera joined Kasugano stable in March 1992 and is the only Sri Lankan to join professional sumo. At the age of 24, he was the oldest of the 148 new recruits who were all about nine years younger than him. He was given the shikona "Tochitaikai Jiro" (栃大海 次郎), however he never fought a professional bout as he retired before the start of the May 1992 tournament.
