Wakamatsu stable (若松部屋, Wakamatsu-beya) was a stable of sumo wrestlers, part of the Takasago ichimon or group of stables. It was set up in January 1929 by the former komusubi Imizugawa, who branched out from Takasago stable. The stable changed its name to Nishiiwa stable (西岩部屋, Nishiiwa-beya) from 1954-1956, but later reverted back to its original name. The stable merged with Takasago stable in February 2002, with its personnel moving to Takasago stable.

Wakamatsu Stable was established in January 1929 by former komusubi Imizugawa, who branched out from Takasago stable. In 1954, the stable would be then be run by former maegashira Shachinosato. He would produce maegashira Shachinosato who took his stablemaster's shikona. He would later take over the stable. Former sekiwake Fusanishiki would marry Shachinosato's daughter and this become the fourth stablemaster of Wakamatsu stable.
Former ozeki Asashio became the head coach of Wakamatsu stable in March 1990, taking over from former sekiwake Fusanishiki who resigned because of ill-health. In the 1990s he coached Asanowaka and Asanosho, both like himself former college champions, to the top division. In 1990, Wakamatsu Stable would recruit their first foreigner, Kaiho of China. Kaiho would have limited success and would retire in 1992. Wakamatsu would have greater success with the Mongolian star Asashōryū, coaching him all the way to yokozuna. In 2002 Wakamatsu stable merged with Takasago stable and Asashio became head coach there.
