Wakataka Tsuyoshi - 若鷹 剛 (born February 28, 1962) is a former Japanese professional sumo wrestler from Takehara, Hiroshima. He made his debut in January 1982 and wrestled for Asahiyama stable. His highest rank was makushita 18 and he retired in May 1985.
Career[]
Nishihara dropped out of Takushoku University to join Asahiyama stable and made his professional debut in January 1982. He won the jonidan yusho with a 7-0 record in May 1982. Upon promotion to makushita in July 1983, he was given the shikona "Wakataka" (若鷹). He reached a career-best makushita 18 in March 1984, but finished with a 2-5 record. he later withdraw from the following May 1984 tournament, and sat out for six consecutive tournaments which caused him to fall off the banzuke. He never returned and retired from sumo in May 1985.
